“It is much harder when it is someone that hadn’t had the opportunity to live a full life and passes away at a young age. I lost my nephew when he was only 32. Receiving a call from my brother that his son had died was never what I imagined when I talked to him that day. Mark may not be with us here on earth but is with us daily in our thoughts and prayers. “When i was 14 I lost my older sister who was 16. She was my greatest mentor and i wanted to be just like he in almost every way. Her passing was sudden and tragic as she was walking with a group of girlfriends and all 3 of them were mowed down by an impaired driver. It changed my life forever as I became the oldest in a family of all girls, and my mother completely fell apart in every single way. Life was forever changed in that moment, and I had to grow up fast. By the time I was 18 I had full custody of my younger sister. I am now 34, in the union and making a great income. I was the 1st in my family to buy a home, go to college and my 2 kids are serious athletes with my daughter playing high school volleyball and my son playing tackle football.
